About Us
In the Beginning:
Here at Folsom Auto Center, we strongly believe in the importance of integrity, honesty and serving others with compassion.
Scott Schneider, founder and owner of Folsom Auto Center and Mechanics Ministries, views the business as a ministry unto the
Lord, employees and customers alike. As such, we are committed to giving straightforward, honest answers to our customers and
providing the highest level of accountability for all the work we do.
The cross, vine and dove logo
(to the right) was the original logo used by Mechanics Ministries when the shop was first established in Rancho Cordova in 1979. We continue to use this same logo
throughout the years because each part has has special significance:
The Cross
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Jesus is God's one and only divine Son and His sacrifice on the cross
is central in God's plan for salvation for those who believe.)
The Vine
John 15:5
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him,
he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
A living union with Christ is absolutely necessary, for without Him there is nothing.
The Dove
Matthew 3:16
"As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water.
At that moment, Heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending
like a dove and lighting on Him."
With the gentleness, guilelessness and purity of the Holy Spirit,
we too are equipped for ministry in our day-to-day lives.
